Dorothy E. Pettigrew, of Greenville, Texas, passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, in Paris, Texas. She was born July 24, 1926, in the Mt. Carmel Community of Hunt County, Texas, to Fred and Inez Blanche Lacy Pettigrew. She was of the Methodist Faith and attended Wesley United Methodist Church in Greenville. Dorothy worked for many years as a nurse/educator. She is survived by two nephews; loving cousins and many friends. Preceding her in death are both parents; brother, Fred Dale Pettigrew; sisters, Mary Jo Pettigrew and Virginia Goodwin. The Paris News, Sunday, January 31, 2016, page A5.
