Obituary - Services for Bobby Jack Richardson, aged 69, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who died Monday, May 12, at his home will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at North Boulevard Church of Christ with burial at Smotherman Cemetery in Midland. Jack Reece will officiate. He was a native of Ennis, Texas and the son of the late Raymond and Virgie Richardson. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Richardson, son Jon Micah (Jennifer)Richardson of Gallatin; daughters Lori (Hal) Burleson of Panama City Florida; Dana (Erek) Romans and Amy Richardson, both of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Edward and Lendon of Texas; and six grandchildren. Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Blackwell Richardson in 1973. He was a minister for 46 years, serving congregations in Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, and Georgia. He served the last 10 years with the Rockvale Church of Christ. He proudly served his country in the Army from 1953 to 1956 in the JAG Unit at Fort Campbell. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rockvale Church of Christ would be greatly appreciated. Pallbearers are Ronnie Travis, Roger Whiteaker, Steve Richardson, Jay Priestly, Ryan Burleson, James D. Clark, Mike Patterson, and Tony Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers will be the elders and deacons of the Rockvale Church of Christ. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Woodfin Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
