Son of Elmer & Ella (Lilienthal) Herman. Married to Thelma M. Francis on 1-6-1945 at St. Augustine Church at Norwich, England. WW II Veteran - US Army Air Corps - Eighth Air Force - 1942/1945. Survivors include his wife, Thelma of Clarks; two daughters-Diane McCoy and Bev Swanson both of Lincoln; six sons-David and Gayle Herman of Las Vegas; Ron and Tricia Herman of Lincoln; Ric and Vicki Herman of Clarks; Mike and Laura Herman of Greeley; Larry Herman of Phoenix; and Brian and Angie Herman of Fullerton; 19 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; one sister Evelyn and Robert Betts of Central City; and sister-in-law Gladys Herman of Clarks. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter-Peggy Barnes in 1982; one grandson-Christopher Swanson in 2000, twin great grandsons; and one brother-Harold Herman.
