Bio

Dan Daugherty, Jr. passed away on January 10th, 2016 at the age of 89. He was born in Cedarvale, Texas in Kaufman County on November 8th, 1926 to Dan and Jewell Davis Daugherty. Dan married Lucille Prater Hunsaker on August 1st, 1949 in Canton, Texas, and in 1957 they moved to Dallas. Dan retired from Brown Express in 1985 after 31 years of service. Dan was preceded in death by both of his parents. He was also preceded in death in January of 1990 by his wife, Lucille; and in February of 2013 by his son, Dan Daugherty III. Dan is survived by his grandson, Dan Daugherty IV; great-grandson, Cullen Daugherty; great-granddaughter, Caeley Daugherty; and his daughter-in-law, Deborah T. Daugherty.
