Married, ~1912, Emma Vandas; she m.2. 1948 CA, Thomas F Russell ----------------------------------------- Another Ord Man is Victim of Influenza Ord, Neb., Dec. 30 -- Stanley F. Dworak, prominent business man of Ord, died from Spanish influenza last night at 8 o'clock. He recently recovered from an attack of the disease, and had been hard at work during the rush of the holiday season. He was assistant cashier of the Ord State bank, and worked for a while after supper Friday night. He apparently felt fine at that time. At 3 a.m. Saturday he awoke with a fever, which gradually grew worse until late yesterday, when it reached 109 [sic]. Stanley was the son of F. J. Dworak, who has run a store in Ord for the past twenty-five years. He has two brothers in the military service, a married sister, and a sister and brother at home. He married several years ago, his wife surviving him. He was a graduate of the Ord high school class of 1903, and was about 35 years of age.
