Bio

Robert Smith, of Winfield, passed away Friday at his residence. He served his country during WWII in the US Army. After the war, he moved north for work where he lived in Ft. Wayne, IN until returning to Winfield where he worked as a police officer and later retired from Continental Conveyer. He was a member of Crews Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Oscar and Lauella Holliman Smith, he was preceded in death by two wives, Ruth and Anna Laura Smith; two brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
