Veteran: U. S. Army World War II ------------------ Arizona Daily Star, 28 Oct 2008, Tue, Page B004 Charles Frederick Hussey 88, was born in Broken Bow, NB on January 26, 1920, and passed away peacefully on October 24, 2008. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lorraine; two daughters, Mary Hussey and Susan Clark; a sister, Opal Pelanowski; three stepchildren and many grandchildren. After graduating high school he moved to Denver where he worked as a chef in an exclusive private club. In 1942 he was drafted into the Army, where he served in the European Theatre during WW II. Until his retirement, he worked as a chef in civil service at Lowry AFB in Colorado. We were blessed the day Charles came into our lives. He was a kind and gentle man who will be dearly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. Services celebrating his life will be held at EAST LAWN PALMS CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd., on Thursday, October 30, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.
