Virginia (Ginger) Miers Weaver, 88, passed away Saturday, November 7th in Boerne, TX. Mrs. Ginger Weaver was born on January 8th, 1927 in Mexia, Texas to Johnny and Willie Miers. Mrs. Weaver married H.F. (Hap) Weaver (deceased) on October 5th 1946 in Mexia, Texas. Ginger loved her family and lived in Salado, TX the last 30 years. She was a member of Temple Bible Church. Ginger also participated in the Salado Women’s chorale group and Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her daughter, Yvette Greene Ellison in Dickens, TX, her son, Hap Weaver and his wife Laura Weaver in Boerne, TX, and her son, John Weaver in Salado, TX. Also she was the proud Grandmother to 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
