Memry Franklin Alderman, 78, employed by Nolan County for 25 years, died Sunday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Chad Strange and the Rev. Orvel Brantley officiating. Burial will be in Maryneal Cemetery. Mr. Alderman was born in Blackwell and was a member of Maryneal Baptist Church. He was a farmer and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Edna J. Alderman of Maryneal; one son, Theo Alderman of Sweetwater; two daughters, Gwen Mock of Seattle, Wash., and Janet High of San Angelo; two sisters, Muriel Pruitt of Fort Davis and Fay Hayhurst of Portales, N.M.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
