OKLAHOMA CITY Cheryl passed to her heavenly home following a lengthy decline in health. She was born to Eugene and Nadine (Wells) Perdue in Kingfisher, OK. She was raised on the family farm NE of town and attended Big Four School, graduating in 1962, then attended OSU studying fashion merchandising. On Feb. 6, 1965, she married A.J. Jech, and to their union was born one daughter, Susan. Cheryl was gifted and talented in many ways, sharing them as a seamstress, decorating design and wedding coordinator. She worked at Streets Apparel in Shepherd Mall as manager, then at Capitol Paint and the South Park Nursing Home Office. She was a longtime member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church, where she was active in Sunday school, the annual fall bazaar, choir, district leader of UMW, and many wedding co-ordinations and receptions. She was preceded in death by her father and husband along with many other family members and relatives. Her survivors include her daughter, Susan McCaleb; granddaughter, Brittney Brown & husband Eric; her great-grandson, Byron Brown, Ashley Aleman, Abigail Aleman, and McKenzie McCaleb; her mother, Nadine Perdue; sisters, Charlene Halverson (Daryl) and Cheila Evey (Ed); nephews, Brad Halverson and Jeff Halverson; niece, Cara Oathout (Brett); nephews, Clay Willms and Chad Willms (Tammy); along with great-nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at Advantage Funeral Service, 10-8 p.m. Services will be held at the Southern Hills United Methodist Church Thursday, Dec. 31 at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made in the name of Cheryl Jech to Southern Hills United Methodist Church.
