Bio

Dorothy S. Jupe, of San Antonio, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 26, 2005 at the age of 84. She was a member of the Highland Social Club and the St. Gerard's First Nighters. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin O. Jupe; parents, Willie and Katie Otto; sister, Wilhelmina Schroeder and great grandson, Jason Ploch. She is survived by her children and their families: son, Dennis A. Jupe and wife Rose of Temple, TX and their children, Michelle Ploch and husband Mike, Mark Jupe and wife Tina, Melanie Valdez and husband Ernie, Darren Jupe and wife Claudia; daughter, Joan Dupnick and husband Max of Spring, TX and their children Jolene Dupnick, David Dupnick and wife Peggy; daughter, Marra Pollok and husband Bill of San Antonio and their children, Christine Moos and husband Jim, Kevin Pollok and wife Jamie, Carrie Ploch and husband John, Kelly Box and husband Chris; son Robert Jupe and wife Ciele of Orinda, CA and their children, Robert Jupe, Jr., Kimberly Jupe, Kirsten Andreae; son, Ervin Jupe and wife Linda of Schertz, TX and their children, Roxanne Jupe, Tinell Mercer and husband Matt, Amy White and husband David; daughter, Eileen Neuhaus of San Antonio and her children, Shawn Scheel and husband Paul, Waylon Koch and fiancee Kendall, Lisa Neuhaus; sister, Irene Blankenstein of Waco, TX; thirty-three great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Sister Mary Elizabeth Jupe, Tillie Jupe, Mickie Jupe, Clarice Theis; also numerous nieces and nephews. SERVICES Visitation will be held at Dellcrest Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 28th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, September 29th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited at St. John Neumann Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. A mass of catholic burial will held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 30th at St. John Neumann Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Cummin and Fr. Eddie Morales as celebrants. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Dorothy's grandsons will serve as pallbearers and her granddaughters will be honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Dorothy's name may be made to the St. John Neumann Building Fund, Our Lady of Fatima Garden or to a charity of one's choice.
