Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements for Gladys Marie Read, of Perry. Mrs. Read died on her 87th birthday, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 1:00 p. m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Perry of which she was a long time member. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday January 30, 2018 at Hastings Funeral Home and her family will be present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery next to her husband Cliff. Memorials are suggested to First Presbyterian Church of Perry.
