Bio

Virginia A. Hafenbredl , 69, Marshfield, died on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, with Rev. Jesse Burish officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Auburndale. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 am on Tuesday until service time at Rembs Funeral Home. Virginia was born on October 18, 1946 in Marshfield to William and Helen (Willfahrt) Hafenbredl, Sr. and was a graduate of Auburndale High School. She also obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant degree. She married Donald Pankratz and they later divorced. In her younger years Virginia had farmed and later she was employed at Marshfield Clinic for 20 years until her retirement. She enjoyed fishing, camping, flea markets, antiques, and attending Warrens Cranfest. She is survived by her children, Bruce (Peggy) Pankratz, Kevin Pankratz, Tamie (Troy) Leonhard, Tracy Pankratz and Susan (Mike) Uerling. She is also survived by grandchildren, Jordan (Jaron) Bernette, Brooke, Morgan, Elizabeth, Emily, James and Rachel Pankratz and 2 great grandchildren. She is further survived by siblings, William (Jan) Hafenbredl, Jr., Jeanette (Ted) Nikolai, and Don (MaryLou) Hafenbredl. She was predeceased by her parents.
