Bio

She was the daughter of Luther A. Murphree and Dona Eufaula Morton. She married Ulysses Everett Putman, son of John Thomas Putman and Licy Louella Catherine "Lula" Gulledge. He was born 8 Mar 1904 in Blount County, Alabama, and died 9 Nov 1979. He was buried in Antioch Methodist Cemetery, Oneonta, Blount County, Alabama. No death date on stone. Jessie Mae Putman, age 90, of Oneonta, died September 3, 2002. She was a member of Mountain Chapel Methodist Church. Survivors: daughter, Luenette Putman (Doyle) Praytor; son, Carlton (Juanita) Putman, both of Oneonta; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 5, at 2 p.m. at Lemley Chapel with burial in Antioch Cemetery. Rev. Elwyn Williamson and Rev. Bobby Hullett officiating.
