Bio

Southern Democrat July 28, 1932 Hobert Murphree Dies. Jan 9, 1923 - July 20, 1932 Hobert Murphree, the nine year old son of Mr. & Mrs. L. A. Murphree, died at their home on Route 5, Oneonta, July 20. His death was due to a tumor on the brain. The young man was a member of the Methodist Church and is survived by his parents, three brothers, Maloy, Ellard, & Olin Murphree; five sisters, Mrs. Clarice Allman, Mrs. Jessie Putman, Miss Zora Belle, Madgie, & Nadene Murphree, all of Route 5, Oneonta. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. H. Walden at Antioch last Thursday with Wade in charge.
