JULIA "JUDY" HILL, age 92 of Alvin, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Evening Star Personal Care, Alvin, Texas. Julia was born on July 4, 1923 in Jarrell, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for 8 years, formerly of Taylor, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Hill, parents, Joe and Mary Shamard and brother, Herbert Shamard. Julia is survived by her son, Donald Hill, sisters, Elsie Mott, Lil Schoen, brother, Melvin Shamard, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Capital Gardens Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
