Bio
He is preceded in death by his wife Adela Vacek; son Gary Vacek; granddaughter, Lynae Vacek; son in law Raymond Doege; brothers, Ivan Vacek, Sidney Vacek, Victor Vacek and sister, Dorothy Hollas. He is survived by his daughters Patricia Doege, Jean Hartman (Robert), Monica Kosub (Emil), Diane Solarczyk (Ray); daughter in law, Florence Vacek; sons George E. Vacek (Jeanette), Anthony Vacek (Elizabeth), Michael Vacek (Kathy); brothers Jerome Vacek and Bennie Vacek; sixteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. George was employed at Lone Star Brewery for 32 years and was a member of the Lone Star Brewery Teamsters Union. He was also a 50 year member of the Knights of Columbus, a lifelong member of the KJT Society #102 and a faithful parishioner of St. Benedict's Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Donald, Chad, Craig, Ryan, Jason, Wade, Travis, Jeremy and Joshua.
