(Lute), age 80, 402 Combine Rd., Seagoville. Survived by wife, Mrs. Altha Hawthorne; daughters, Mrs. A. G. Woody, Mrs. Marie Maughn, Mrs. Geneva Miller, Mrs. Clara Gregg, Mrs. Lucille Cunningham, Mrs. Louise Latham; sons, Edwin, James, Ray, Clarence, Carrol Hawthorne; thirty grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; three sisters, one brother.
