Bio
"Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in First Methodist Church for James C. Eades, 87, retired farmer who lived six miles northwest of Snyder. The Rev. Harry Vanderpool, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Snyder Cemetery under direction of Bell-Seale Funeral Home. Born Oct. 31, 1876, in Kentucky, Mr. Eades moved to Scurry County in 1962 to live with a daughter, Mrs. Neal Henley. Mrs. Eades died in 1963. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Neal Henley of Snyder; one son, Jimmy of Orange; and one brother, Cortez Eades of Athens. Pallbearers will be nephews."
