Bio

Vinc Hykel married Johana Hikel (his cousin) on August 4, 1890 in West, McLennan County, Texas. They had three children, Vinc Emil Hykel born April 12, 1891, Louis A. Hykel born April 16, 1892, and Frank Hykel born January 10, 1894. According to family members, Johana died on January 10, 1894, giving birth to her third child, Frank Hykel, who was born on January 10, 1894 and died on January 20, 1894. Johana Hykel and the baby, Frankie Hykel, are buried in the plot with Ana Hikel (Vinc Hykel's mother), but the headstone does not reflect that. At the time of their deaths Vinc Hykel couldn't afford a headstone for them.
