Leonard R. Davis of Sweetwater Dies Rotan - Leonard R. Davis, 49, of Sweetwater. died of a heart attack at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D.A. Williamson here at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. He had been doing some repair work on the home for his wife's parents when he was stricken. Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Highland Heights Methodist Church in Sweetwater with the Rev. C. P. McMaster, pastor of the First Methodist Church in Rotan, officiating. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery under direction of Weathersbee Funeral Home of Rotan. Mr. Davis was employed by C&H Distributors in Sweetwater and was a member of Highland Heights Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II. He was born April 23, 1914 in Loraine and came to Sweetwater in 1933. He married Mattie Lou Williamson February 10, 1952 in Rotan. Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Carlla Lynn of the home; and his father, W.A. Davis of Sweetwater.
