Marshall R. Curry Marshall R. Curry, 84, of Granbury, formerly of Sweetwater, died Sunday, May 23, 2004, at a Granbury nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26, at Sweetwater Cemetery with Joe Bagby officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home. Curry was born Jan. 20, 1920, in Canyon. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a U.S. Army World War II veteran. Curry was a self-employed electrical contractor before retiring. Survivors include one brother, Charles D. Curry and wife, Marie of Granbury; two stepdaughters, May Ann Brock and Carol Clemens, both of Midland; one stepson, Kenny Jones of Kermit; four nephews; and two nieces.
