Bio

STEPHENVILLE - Bennie Arnold, 88, self-employed appliance repair, was born in Bowie to Ben Thomas Arnold and Beaulah Smoot. He married Bobbie Rowell on Sept. 14, 1949 in Hale Center. Bennie was a devout member of the First Baptist Church in Stephenville. He bravely served in the Army as a Quarter Master Corp, PFC from Feb. 21, 1946 to March 31, 1947. Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Arnold of Stephenville, sons; Phillip Arnold of Pineville, Mo, Stan Arnold and wife, Lou Ann of Stephenville, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, sister; and Mae Watson of Stephenville. He was preceded in death by his son, Glen Arnold April 15, 2012, his parents; Ben Thomas Arnold and Beaulah Smoot Arnold and seven siblings.
