1940 Census, St Louis.MO. Wife Aletha age35, no children. ---------------------- Horace Taylor Welch DU 26 Aug 1968 Long Illness Claims Life of H.T. Welch Services were held Monday for Horace Taylor Welch, 74, of Lawrenceburg, at Freemon Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Blair Cemetery with Fred Harper officiating. Mr. Welch passed away Friday, August 23 at the Lawrence County Hospital after an extended illness. He was a retired railroad telegraph operator, and a son of the late John A. and Mollie Kelley Welch. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Thornton, Missouri, Mrs. Dorothy, Tucker, Washington; one sister, Mrs. Dot Welch Noblit, Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren.
