BLUE SPRINGS - Jewell Dye Hall, 85, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at the Care Center of Aberdeen. She was born June 15, 1918, in Union County to Cornelia Langford Pannell and Clark Pannell. She was a resident of the Ellistown community most of her life. She was a member of Ellistown Baptist Church. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at United Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Enoch Purvis officiating. Burial will be in Ellistown Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Doris Dye Terry of Blue Springs; three sons, Clark Dye and wife, Judy, of New Albany, and the Rev. Gerald Dye and wife, Betty, and Carey Dye and wife, Sandra, all of Blue Springs; three brothers, Bill Pannell and wife, Elaine, of New Albany, J.T. Pannell of Tupelo, and Truett Pannell and wife, Evelyn, of Blue Springs; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dulaney Dye; her second husband, Benjamin Hall; and her parents. Pallbearers will be Brad Dye, Jimmy Crumpton, Evan Nanney, Larry Pannell, Ronnie Bell and James Luther Hardy.
