Fort Bend Herald, November 7, 2015: Mae Elda (Mesecke) Paukert, 90, of Richmond, Texas passed away on November 4, 2015 in Richmond, Texas. She was born December 15, 1924 in Needville, Texas to Konrad and Clara Engelhardt Mesecke. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond. This loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend will truly be missed. She is preceded in death after 57 yrs of marriage by her husband Ervin W. Paukert, Brothers and sister-in-laws Norwin & Billie Mesecke and Hilton (Pete) & Wilma Mesecke. She was employed by Love's Fine Foods for 30yrs. Survivors include her son, Larry Joe Paukert and wife Linda; grandchildren, Tammy and Sonny Pfeffer, Tanya and Robert McKay, and Tracie and James McDaniel; great grandchildren, Scott and Ryan Pfeffer, Lacie and Cash Williams, Trent McDaniel, Gracyn and Harlee McKay; along with numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service/Rosary at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg with Deacon Don Ries officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Pallbearers will include Sonny Pfeffer, Steve Matthews, Bill Bergen, Bill Schuler, David Mikula, and Randy Mikula. Memorials may be left for Masses, Sacred Heart Building Fund or Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond. Tributes and words of condolence may be left for the family at www.davisgreenlawnfh.com.
