Died at age 16. Parents: Jay Seaborn Morton. Mary Ann Blakely. Jay and Mary married June 16, 1879 in Murphree's Valley, Blount, Alabama. Married Reverend David Monroe Blalock in 1909. OBITUARY: Thursday, January 27, 1910 Mrs. David Blalock died at her home near Tait's Gap, of St. Vitus Dance, after a short illness, January 24th. She was a good woman and a daughter of Jay Morton.
