Bio

Lou Anne Morgenstern, 79, died at 10:55 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, in Randolph County Care Center in Sparta. She was born Sept. 20, 1928, in Campbell Hill to Lawrence Vonier and Ruth Fults. She married James L. Wright on Nov. 8, 1947, and he died Sept. 28, 1990. Later she married Edward E. Morgenstern in Marissa on April 20, 1995. She was a member of Marissa Presbyterian Church. She was employed for 31 years at World Color Press as the purchasing agent. Prior to that, she was the secretary to the plant manager. She was also a member of Sparta VFW Auxiliary, Sparta Welcome Center Board and Delta Theta Tau Sorority. She is survived by her spouse, sons, one stepson, one stepdaughter, four stepgrandchildren, one stepgreat-grandson, two grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband and her parents.
