Bio

Margauret Sinclair, 93, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Oct. 23, at Western Home Communities Stanard Family Assisted Living Center. She was born Jan. 27, 1922, in Waverly, daughter of Lester and Rosabel Sickles Loveland. She married Donald J. Sinclair on March 31, 1950, in Janesville. He died June 5, 2003. Margauret graduated from St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids as a registered nurse and went on to serve in the U.S. Army as a nurse during World War II. She worked as a nurse at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls; St. Luke’s Hospital and Rockwell Collins, both in Cedar Rapids, retiring from the Good Samaritan Preceded in death by: two sons, Nathan and Rodney Sinclair; and three brothers, Keith, Vern and Glen Loveland. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls, with inurnment in the Oakland Cemetery, Janesville. Full military honors provided by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post No. 49. Memorials: may be directed to church for the Sunday School Program.
