Alice Hulinsky Oct 25,1921-Oct 23,2015 Alice Hulinsky, 94, of Gering, died Oct. 23, 2015 at The Residency in Scottsbluff. Funeral services will be held Oct. 26, 2015 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Scottsbluff. Interment will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering. Alice was born on Oct. 25, 1921 in Eureka to Frank and Agnes (Bruha) Volf. She received her early education from Eureka schools. At age 19, Alice married Joseph “Joe” Hulinsky Jr., and to this union two daughters were born. They moved to Mitchell and then to Gering, where Alice lived in the same home for 61 years. Alice was a seamstress at Helen’s House of Style for many years and sewed for many of the Scottsbluff/Gering residents. She enjoyed her Women’s Card Club, bowling, and dancing to her favorite polka music. She is preceded in death by her husband Joe, daughter Marilyn Lackey, grandson Ronald Lackey, and siblings Emma Hulinsky, Lillian Setlik, Edwin Volf, Lucille Vampola, and infant twins Frank and Agnes.
