Emma Beasley Mrs. Emma Beasley Dies November 3 Mrs. Emma Beasley, 81, died Thursday, November3 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Flora Trembley, of this city. Funeral services were held on Saturday at 2 pm, at the Bishop Chapel Church, with Dr. A.H. Hottel officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Osborn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Beasley was a native of Alabama but had lived in Lawrence County for a number of years. She was a member of the Liberty Grove Baptist Church and a daughter of the late Ruebin and Sarah Dodd Harper. Mrs. Beasley is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Flora Trembley, of this city; Mrs. Mary Ferguson, Pontiac, Mich.; one son, Wiley Thomas Beasley, Florence, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; several half brothers and half sisters.
