Bio

The Crawford County Democrat Randall Purcell died Friday, September 22 1905 at his home in Alton. He was born on March 24, 1836, Switzerland County, Indiana to Amos and Mary Orpha Pate Purcell. He married Nancy Jane Voris on January 3, 1858. To this union were born five sons, Sidney, John, William, Amos and Infant son. five daughters, Julia Kemp, Lillian Watson,Addie Esarey, Mary Susan Peabody and infant daughter. 36 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren. Funeral was Sunday September 24th burial Flower Point Cemetery, Alton, Indiana.
