DITTMER - HAHN Miss Dora Dittmer, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.P. Dittmer of Havens, and Henry Hahn of Lincoln were united in marriage at a three o'clock ceremony March 17 by the Rev. Paul H. Banning, pastor of the Lutheran church in Central City. The bride wore a powder blue dress and carried a beautiful bouquet of American Beauty roses and white sweet peas. The groom wore a dark suit. The bridesmaids, Miss Mary Koblitz of Lincoln, niece of the groom, and Miss Tena Hensen of Cedar Bluffs also wore blue dresses and carried pink and white sweet peas. Fred Dittmer, brother of the bride and Arthur Nobbman, cousin of the bride, were best men. The bride is well known as she has lived with her parents in this community since she was a small girl. The groom is equally well known near Lincoln where he has a farm to which he took his wife to make her new home. March 17 was the 41st anniversary of the wedding of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.P. Dittmer. Those who attended the reception at the H.P. Dittmer home Friday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nobbman and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Will Nobbman and family, Mrs. C.F. Nobbman all of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. H.P. Dittmer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dittmer, Mrs Henry Dittmer, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Dittmer and son, Mr. and Mrs. James Wolfe, Miss Mildred Dittmer, and Detlef Hensen of Cedar Bluffs. A group of their friends gathered with all the noise making equipment of a good charivari and were treated in the theatre building in Havens. Mr. and Mrs. H.P. Dittmer, Fred, Alvin and Mildred went to Lincoln with the couple Sunday. Sunday evening a group of friends from that vicinity called on the newlyweds at their home. Silver Creek Sand, March 24, 1939
