Bio
Gertrude was born January 14, 1915 in Denton, Texas. She was a very kind and caring person. Gertrude graduated from North Texas State Teachers College (TWU). After graduation she went to the small east Texas town of Nevada to teach in their high school. Gertrude was an active member of First United Methodist of Grand Prairie, DAR, Friends of Grand Prairie Library. She also enjoyed bridge clubs, golf, square dancing, climbing mountains at Estes Park, and travel to many locations around the world.
