JoAnn Harrington, age "29"!!, died Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Columbus Community Hospital. JoAnn was born on April 18, 1935 in Cedar Rapids, NE to Joseph & Josephine (Hilger) Siemek. Her family moved to Columbus where she attended St. Anthony's and graduated from St. Bonaventure (Scotus). She married Wayne "Buzz" Harrington on November 26, 1955 at St. Anthony's in Columbus where they remained members. They had five children Sue, Tim, Sherri, Patti, and Davy. She worked at Becton-Dickinson, where she made many lifelong friends, until her retirement. In her retirement years she enjoyed everything shiny, convertible cars, garage sales, traveling, gambling, friends, dining out and the Cornhuskers. JoAnn was a member of the St. Theresa Sodality and an active member of her church. She also kept busy by being "Gramma Jo" at St. Anthony's School and a lunch lady at Columbus High. JoAnn loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
