Bio

Stewart Rites Monday Afternoon Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Methodist church, for Harold B. Stewart, 70, who died March 18 in Hastings following a short illness during which he suffered a heart attack. Reverend Keith Shepherd officiated. Burial was made in the Ord City cemetery with Hastings Pearson mortuary in charge. Mr. Stewart was born in Vinton county, Ohio, October 3, 1884. He grew to manhood there. In 1902 he married Goldie S. Cook. In 1910 the family moved to Ord where Mr. Stewart worked as a drayman in the lumber yard. The couple's home was in Springdale where Mr. Stewart was in charge of an elevator. The next 18 years the couple spent on the C. A. Hager farm. Here Mrs. Stewart died. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ray Godden, of North Platte, and Mrs. O. E.
