Bio

Bert was a son of William and Sarah Garrison Adams. He married Violet Robb Dec. 25, 1945, in Peoria. He was a car inspector for the Rock Island Railroad for 21 years, retiring in 1964. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Brenda (Larry) Banks, Karen (Kenneth) Robertson and Edella (Dale) Haller; a son, Kenneth Adams; two brothers, Charles E. Adams and George L. Adams. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Obituary in the Peoria Journal Star, Mon., Dec. 15, 1980, a.m. edition, page A-13 . Obituary located by Mel Slane .
