Bio

Violet Katherine Adams, 84, of 1125½ Mechanic St. died Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at Pekin Hospital. Born Sept. 10, 1920, in Hannibal, Mo., to Calvin William and Nettie Esther Davis Robb, she married Hilbert L. Adams on Dec. 15, 1945, in Peoria. He died Dec. 14, 1980. She also was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers. Surviving are two daughters, Brenda (and Larry) Banks of Chillicothe and Karen Jenkins of Pekin. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Full obit in the Peoria Journal Star - May 27, 2005 .
