Ben Morris, Jr. Services To Be Held At Ord Killed in Action on Luzon, Last Rites To Be Held Sunday Funeral services for Pfc. Benjamin F Morris, Jr. will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 from the Hastings-Pearson chapel, Pastor Eugene Olson of the Bethel Baptist church officiating. His body will be borne by a group of his former comrades in arms, and the rites at the grave will be in charge of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign wars. Oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Morris, Sr., he was killed in action Mar 15, 1945, on the Island of Luzon, Philippine Islands. He was born April 25, 1921, at Ord, and was 23 years, 10 months and 21 days of age at the time of his death. Surviving are his father, who lives at Neligh, Nebr.; a brother, Vergil, Norfolk, Nebr.; four sisters: Sister Mary Monica of Denver; Mrs. Lumir (Etta Mae) Sich, Ord; Dorothy Ellen Morris, Ord; Mrs. Laverne (Fern) Reiswig, Watsonville, Calif.
