Adele Landsfeld Janousek, 91, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the IOOF Nursing Home of Ennis, Texas. Adele was born in Ennis, Texas on January 20. 1921, to Joe and Mary (Jakubik) Landsfeld. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School. On July 15, 1941 she married Joe Janousek and they made their home in Ennis. She was a full-time mother of five wonderful children. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, SPJST and Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She enjoyed gardening and reading. She is survived by one son, Kenneth Janousek and his wife, Sharon of Ennis; three daughters: Eva and her husband, Danny Patak of Ennis, Del Marie and her husband, Pete Murphy of Mansfield and Anna Elliott of Ennis; eleven grandchildren: Krissie Hoselton of Azle, Robert Elliott of Ennis, Wendy Spaniel of Ennis, Lisa Marak of Ennis, Jeremy Elliott of Ennis, Kenny Janousek of Ennis, David Janousek of Ennis, Daniel Janousek of Ennis, Michael Murphy of Grand Prairie, Kathy Brown of Bonham and Amy Childress of McKinney; seventeen great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Betty Landsfeld of Fort Worth, Agnes Landsfeld of Ennis, special cousin Mildred Trlica and several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe Janousek on October 19, 2000, one son, Joe David Janousek in 1991, two brothers: Wesley Landsfeld and Joe J. Landsfeld and one sister, Mary Landsfeld Strunc. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the J. E. Keever Mortuary, 408 N. Dallas Street, Ennis, Texas. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Mass for the Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 11, at 10 a.m. in the St. John Catholic Church in Ennis with the Rev. John Dick as celebrant. The family would like to give a special thanks to Jennifer Ramirez, who for nine years assisted our family in caring for our mother.
