Bio

Henry A. Sawyer, 89, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015. Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Celebration Community Church, 908 Pennsylvania Ave., Fort Worth. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, Smithville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Davis Funeral Chapel. He was born April 11, 1926, in Smithville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Millie C. Sawyer, Joseph F. Sawyer; and a son, Chris Sawyer. Survivors: Daughters, Pattie Griffin, Ruth Michel; sister, Ethel Zimmerhanzel; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
