Bio

The Oil City Derrick - Tuesday morning, November 20, 1951 (front page) Orrin H. Foreman Is Fatally Hurt Orrin H. Foreman, 36, of Sage Run Road, RD 2, died in Oil City Hospital at 1:15 a.m. Monday from injuries sustained in a fall on the ice while en route to work Saturday morning. Death was due to a brain injury received in the fall, it is reported. Foreman apparently struck his head, inflicting the injury which caused his death. Born October 5, 1915, in Oil City, a son of F. Clair and Iva L. Fulmer Foreman, he had spent most of his life in Oil City. On June 16, 1938, he was married to Rebecca Cyphert in Oil City. He was a member of the Nazarene Church and was an employe of Oil Well Supply Company. Surviving are his wife and four children, Orrin H. Foreman, Jr., Rollin, Darlene and Elaine, all at home. Also surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. Clair Foreman, Oil City; and three brothers, Victor F. and Relden L. Foreman, Oil City, and Carl S. Foreman, Franklin. The body was removed to the Crawford Funeral Home. Interment in Sunset Hill Memorial Cemetery.
