w/o Albert d/o Charles & Esther ∼ Dubuque Telegraph Herald Monday 07 Aug 1944 Strawberry Point, la. — Special: Mrs. Cora McLane, 75, died at her home here Friday evening. Cora May Bryan, daughter of Charles and Esther Bryan, was born near Strawberry Point, Dec. 3, 1868. On Oct. 31, 1885, she was married to Albert Lee McLane. He died Feb. 14, 1931. She lived all her life in this community. Survivors are two sons and two daughters, Jesse and Harry McLane, Mrs. Glenn Way, and Mrs. Viola Otterbeck, all of Strawberry Point, ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Gill Funeral Chapel Monday afternoon. Burial was here.
