Maxine L. Thompson, 85, of McKinney, Texas, passed away August 24, 2015. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow funeral home in Allen. Interment will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Park. Parents: the late John William and Flora Agnes (McGuire) LaFon Church Affiliation: Waddill Street Baptist Church in McKinney Preceded in death by: her husband, Kenneth Thompson; sons, Kenneth Douglas and Keith Alan Thompson; brother, J.W. LaFon; and sister, Venita Fraiser Survived by: her daughter, Susan Peabody; son, Jon Mark Thompson and wife, Yolanda; daughter-in-law, Regina Thompson ,all of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren: Christina, Brian, T.J., Jennifer, Jon Paul, Aaron, and Jaclyn; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Modean Barry and husband, Bob, of Ft. Worth, Texas; sister-in-law, Blanche LaFon, of Sherman, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews. V19
