Bio
Billy Joe Luza Sr., 62, of Bryan passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015. Funeral Services are set for 2PM Sunday, August 2 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Saturday, August 1 also in the Funeral Home. Born July 29, 1952 in Bryan he was the son of Willie and Cecil Luza. He loved music and played the drums in several bands over the years notably in the Music Masters Band and in the Booger Bears Band, in the 60's and 70's. Billy was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pat Nemec; and a brother, John Luza. Billy leaves behind to cherish his memories, a son Billy Luza Jr. and wife Jackie; two daughters, Marti and husband Jason Morales and Kamrey Luza; two brothers, Edward and wife Joyce Luza and Larry and wife Barbara Luza; three grandchildren Brianna, Jacob, and Chelsee.
