Mrs. Annie Ledak Died Here Tuesday, Buried in Ennis Mrs. Annie Ledak, 40, wife of Pete Ledak, died at the family residence in West at 2:40 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, May 29, after an illness of over a year. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. E.J. Polcak at 10 a.m. at the residence and at the Catholic Church in Ennis at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Interment was at the Catholic Cemetery in Ennis. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cervenka, Mrs. Ledak was born at Bardwell, Texas, on September 15, 1904. She lived in West for the past seven years, moving here from Ennis, Texas. Surviving are her son, Joe Slovacek, U.S. Army; two daughters, Misses Alice Slovacek and Mary Ann Ledak; her father, Joe Cervenka; two sisters, Mrs. Rosie J. Ajic of Powderly, Texas, and Mrs. L.C.
