OTTUMWA DAILY COURIER , Monday, November 6, 1944, Page 14: Riley Bolin Riley Bolin, 77, of Drakesville route 1, died at the St. Joseph hospital at 9 a.m. Sunday. The son of Pleasant and Jane Bolin, he was born December 2, 1867, in Davis county and lived in that area practically his entire life. Survivors include a brother, Charles Bolin, Drakesville route 1; seven sisters, Mrs. Minnie Shepherd, Mrs. Lillie Heckart, Mrs. Clara Leonard, Mrs. Stella Proctor and Mrs. Mae Rudd, all of the Drakesville community, Mrs. Starling Dye of near Blakesburg and Mrs. Elizabeth Chidester, Albia route 3, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Ormanville church, conducted by the Rev. A. D. McClure. Burial will be in Ormanville cemetery. The casket was taken from the Johnson funeral chapel to the home of his sister, Mrs. W. M. Chidester, Albia route 3, this afternoon and will be moved to the Ormanville church at 1 p.m. Wednesday, an hour before services.
