Bio
Obit Child of God Adeline was born in Bruno, Nebr., to Emil Frank Stava and Mary Tille Ptacek Stava. The Czech language was used throughout Bruno and English was learned by Adeline. In Nebraska, prior to her marriage in 1933, and divorce in 1942 to Slyvester Joseph Zetocha, Adeline taught rural school. In Grand Island, Nebr during WWII she was employed at the Cornhusker Ammunition Plant as a guard, 17 years at the Northwest Bell Telephone Company, and 17 years for the Federal Government in several states. Living in Denver, Colorado she retired in 1984. In 1994 moved to Golden West Boulder, and moved in 2010 to Beatrice Hover Assisted Living Longmont. Adeline painted many lovely pictures in oil. Such a kind and loving soul was called HOME. Her parents; brothers, Theodore and Leonard; sister, Rose (Hamata); and son, Ronald and wife, Helga preceded her in death. She is survived by DAUGHTER, Marilyn Thomsen (Paul); children, John Thomsen, Dianne Gates, Lianne Daley (Darrell); four great-grandchildren, Brittiny and Madilin Gates, Hailey and Travis Shepherd; one great-grandchild, Isabella Johnson; SON, Paul G (Barbara); children, Tracie Schmidt (Carlos), Terry Macy (Andy), Kelly Gonzales (Samuel); 6 great-grandchildren, Brandi Trent, Taylor, Carlee and Jake Macy, Isabel and Sammy Gonzales; two great-great grandchildren, Gage and Gavin Trent; SON, Ronald; children - Rhonda (John Glass) VA, Paul (Erin) NM, Neal (Bettina) NC; three great-grandchildren, Alex LaBonte, Sara Zetocha, and Brian Zetocha. Adeline loved her shopping trips with very close friend, Darlene Gates. Adeline enjoyed many visits with Hope and her children. ADELINE'S TENDER TOUCH AND LOVE FOR ALL WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. Our thanks go to all the caring staff at Hover and TRU Hospice. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to TRU Hospice care, 2594 Trailridge Drive East, Lafayette, Co 80026. A funeral mass will be held Friday, August 28, 2015 at 5:00P.M., St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 3791 Pike Road (corner of Pike and Airport Rd.) Longmont, Co 80503.
