Bio

Mrs. Henry Santema, 81, Sioux Center, died Jan. 7 at a Rock Valley hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 9 at the First Reformed Church in Sioux Center. The Rev. Jack Boerigter will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Gardens at Sioux Center under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center. Mrs. Santema was born May 17, 1892, at Sioux Center. She was married Dec. 3, 1914, at Sioux Center. He died April 18, 1964. Survivors include four sons, Andrew of Holly Hill, Fla., James of Fresno, Calif., Bernard of Sheldon, and John of Rock Valley; a brother, Ernest Mulder of Sioux Center; 12 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
