Ottumwa Courier April 13, 1946 Death Comes to G. W. Klingler, 84 George W. Klingler, 84 of 621 Queen Ave. died at 3 PM Saturday at the Ottumwa Hospital. He was the former employee of John Morrell and Company, retiring July 16, 1938 and had lived in Ottumwa for the past 30 years. He was born September 16, 1861 and Davis County, the son of Frederick and Sarah Klingler. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Clara Heckart of Ottumwa; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Eakins of Ottumwa and Mrs. Sarah Bachman of Davis County. His wife Mrs. Lydia Klingler, died March 27, 1933 and one son Oliver, died in infancy. Funeral services were to be held at 3:30 PM today at the Johnson funeral Chapel in charge of the Rev. A.D. McClure with burial at Baer cemetery.
